Area events for the 4th of July

4th of July celebrations are happening all across Eastern Idaho. Here are a few to check out. If you’d like to add your local event to the list send us details at newsdesk@localnews8.com.

Idaho Falls-Events start at 7:15 am and last all day ending with the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration & Fireworks Display

Pocatello/Chubbuck-Events will run most of the day at the Bannock County Fairgrounds and you can also see the Pocatello Parade.

Blackfoot-Blackfoot is celebrating the 4th a bit earlier in conjunction with their Celebrate Blackfoot event. Events start July 1st and run through the 4th. A special fireworks show will be held Saturday night. Full schedule here.

Rexburg-Events in Rexburg start on the 1st of July with the Whoopee Days Rodeo. A fireworks display will be done on the 2nd and many more activities will be available on the 4th. Full Schedule here.

Jefferson County-The county will be hosting events all day July 2nd. Highlights include a Wet and Wild Fun Run and live music performances in the evening. Full details here.

Teton-Teton Valley Ballon Rally will be back for the 4th of July weekend. Find the full list of events here.

Hailey-Events start on the 2nd of July with an antiques and craft fair. Full details here.

Menan is holding activities all day starting with a flag raising and breakfast in the morning a parade and booths during the day and a firework show at dawn

Jackson-A number of events will be available including the Howdy Pardners Ambassador Club Parade. More details here.
