Wind forces closure of a portion of the greenbelt for firework viewing
Due to the wind the fire marshal has mandated that Vissing Circle and the portion of the River Walk (Greenbelt) path between Vissing Circle and the boat docks is closed to all pedestrian and vehicle traffic due to safety issues with the fireworks fall out.
The entire stretch of the River Walk is closed to foot traffic as well. If you need to get to the other side, you’ll need to find an alternate route.
People previously planning to use the area must find an alternate area to view fireworks.
