STEP CHALLENGE

You can be part of the team in joining us on a Step Challenge.

Watch Local News 8 and KIDK Eyewitness News each night this week to learn why it’s important to walk and what to do more efficiently.

Jay Hildebrandt, Karole Honas of KIFI Local News 8 along with Todd Kunz and Steve Cannon of KIDK Eyewitness News 3 will challenge each other to walking a specific number of steps over the week of July 25 – 29.

To help them with their challenge, they’re looking for your help in walking with them each night across eastern Idaho. (Time and dates below.)

Bring a pedometer, health tracking device, cell phone or whatever, you can with you to track your steps. Set yourself a goal to reach. You may want bring some water, as well.

This is just not for one evening, challenge yourself to walking each day towards your own goal.

MONDAY, July 25 – POCATELLO
7 PM to 8 PM – Portneuf Wellness Center, meet by tennis courts
2375 Olympus Dr.

TUESDAY, July 26 – BLACKFOOT
7 PM to 8 PM – Jensen Grove Park, meet on the beach near the docks

WEDNESDAY, July 27 – IDAHO FALLS
7 PM to 8 PM – Greenbelt, meet by the World War II Memorial across from the Bonneville County Courthouse on Memorial Drive

THURSDAY, July 28 – RIGBY
7 PM to 8 PM – Jefferson Lake (A $5 fee to enter with vehicle), meet by playground

FRIDAY, July 29 – REXBURG
7 PM to 8 PM – Porter Park (S 3rd West & W 2nd South), meet by carousal and water spray park
