Our customers are the reason we exist

Four Southeast Idaho Post Offices held a Customer Appreciation Day Wednesday. Customers were invited to stop by and enjoy cookies and brownies.

Idaho Falls Post Office postemaster Tony Haws welcomed customers and answered any questions customers had regarding mail.

“Our customers are the reason we exist,” Haws said.

“One of the things we take pride in is serving the public. We serve the public every day whether it’s through processing or delivery. So we want to meet them and introduce ourselves.”

He’s been the postmaster for five months and said so far, he’s met a lot of great customers and people in the community.

The following locations will host Customer Appreciation Day:

Blackfoot Post Office, 165 W. Pacific St. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Idaho Falls Post Office, 605 4th St. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pocatello Main Post Office, 730 E. Clark St. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Rexburg Post Office, 140 S. Center St. from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
