Detailed Forecast for Jan. 2, 2017

Another chilly day in eastern Idaho, and we’ll get extra chilly for this upcoming work-week. The one plus to this forecast, the storm bringing in the cold air is breaking down, meaning we won’t get as cold as initially forecasted (It will still be cold, so don’t breath too easy).

Monday, mostly cloudy skies with off-and-on snow showers. Highs will be in the teens. Overnight lows will start getting in the single digits and below 0.

Tuesday, mostly cloudy with a few snow showers and cold. Highs will be in the single digits and overnight lows into Wednesday will be range from 5 to -15. Winds will pick up too, meaning overnight wind chills will be VERY cold.

Wednesday, some sunshine with a few areas holding on to overcast conditions. Highs will range from the low single digits to the low teens.
