A winter wonderland can be a winter nightmare for those who have to commute on wet, slush covered roads and highways.
According to SafeWinterRoads.org, more than 116,000 Americans are injured and more than 1,300 are killed every winter on snowy, slushy or icy pavement.
According to the Federal Highway Administration, 70 percent of the nation’s roads are located in snowy regions.
