As our atmospheric river pattern shifts off to the south, drier and colder air will continue to filter in across the Northern Rockies. High pressure will take control of our forecast for the next several days keeping us dry and sunny with cold temps especially at night. Areas of fog will also be possible through the next couple of mornings. Friday, areas of patchy fog otherwise cold and sunny with highs staying into the teens and low 20’s. Winds will be light from the north. Tonight, mostly clear skies with lows falling to zero and below in most areas. Mountain valleys can expect to be much colder. Patchy fog is possible. Saturday, mostly sunny, with a high near 17°. Sunday, mostly sunny with highs 15° to 20°.
