Fire starts at pallet supplier near Idaho Falls

Crews are responding to a fire at Challenger Pallet and Supply near Idaho Falls.

According to Carl Anderson, Assistant Fire Chief for the Central Fire District, the fire started between two walls of the maintenance shop. Employees first spotted the fire when they got in to work just before 9 a.m. Monday.

Anderson says they believe a faulty heater caused the fire but it is still being investigated. Anderson says there was only minimal damage to the building.

Firefighters from Idaho Falls Fire Department, Lewisville Fire Department, Menan Fire Department, and Rigby Fire Department responded to the fire. No one was injured by the fire.
