Burglary suspect arrested while hiding in storage unit

Pocatello Police arrested a suspect in connection to an early morning burglary Thursday. Police were called by a security guard to 2250 N. Arthur at around 6 a.m. Tuesday. The guard observed people trying to break into storage units. When officers arrived, they found a locking mechanism broken off one of the storage units. They also found Nathan F. Furukawa, 22, hiding inside. Furukawa was not the owner of the unit and did not know the owner. Furukawa was charged with burglary. Investigation is continuing.
