17th Street and Hitt Road intersection to undergo $2.3 million reconstruction

The City of Idaho Falls approved a multi-million dollar bid to reconstruct a major intersection in Ammon.

$2.3 million was the bid awarded to HK Contractors to reconstruct the 17th and Hitt Road intersection. The City of Idaho Falls and the City of Ammon are working together on this project. The city clerk and HK Contractors will move forward in signing contract documents.

The project is set to start in April.
