SWAT Team executes search warrant, detains 4 at Idaho Falls home

The Idaho Falls Police Department SWAT Team responded to a home on South Boulevard at about 9:30 a.m. Today to assist with executing a search warrant.

According to IFPD, four individuals have been detained and the team is continuing to search the home as part of an active investigation regarding illegal narcotics and weapons.

The area was closed to traffic by officers because the officers were using distraction devices. This was done to reduce potential high risk to bystanders.
