Wind gust blows cargo container off US 20

Rexburg Police say an empty cargo container fell off a semi-truck trailer shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Captain Randy Lewis said a gust of wind sheered off pins holding the container and blew it off the Main Street overpass on the northbound lane of US Highway 20. The container rolled onto the slope behind Erickson Pontiac. No one was hurt. Aside from the container, there was no other property damage. The container was being delivered to a location in Sugar City.
