Weekend forecast for FEB 25th and 26th
Cold air remains in place for the weekend. We’re not looking for any heavy new snow showers. However, with gusty winds both Saturday and Sunday blowing and drifting snow will continue to plague the area. A weak storm moves in from the north on Sunday and Monday, with a few more snow showers. Saturday: Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of snow showers, mainly before noon. Highs in the Plain into the mid 20’s. Wind chill values as low as zero. Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch. Overnight lows around 10° to 15° in the Snake River Plain, with a slight chance of snow. Southwest winds 15-25 mph. Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance of snow. Highs into the mid 20’s. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Monday: Cloudy with a 60% chance of snow showers. Highs will range 25° to 30° high near 27. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible. Tuesday: Partly cloudy with a 40% of snow. Highs into the upper 20’s.
