Jefferson County collecting data on winter flood damage

Jefferson County Emergency Management is collecting information about the economic and structural impact on the county that has been caused by the ongoing flooding from melting snow.

This preliminary damage assessment process will help the county to identify the overall impact to the community. To help gather the data the Emergency Management team has asked those impacted to submit a form detailing the damage. The form can be downloaded below or on the Idaho Office of Emergency Managment website. Submitting these forms doesn’t guarantee assistance, but will be used to review opportunities for assistance.

The emergency management team needs the forms to be submitted by March 8. They can be emailed to rsquires@co.jefferson.idaho.gov or mailed to:

Eight Idaho counties are now part of the state declaration: Cassia, Gooding, Jefferson, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka, Twin Falls and Washington counties.
