Man arrested for drug trafficking as part of ongoing investigation

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Deputies have arrested a man for drug trafficking as part of an ongoing drug investigation by their office and Idaho Falls Police.

21-year-old Caden J. Sato was arrested Wednesday for felony trafficking of marijuana and has several other felony drug charges pending.

Deputies made contact with Sato Wednesday on a traffic stop in the area of 1st Street and Ammon Road. Sato was the subject of an ongoing drug investigation and found to be in possession of just under 3 pounds of marijuana.

This resulted in Detectives serving a search warrant on two separate locations, the 500 S. block of 45th E. and the 3000 block of Sandy Dr. where more than 6 pounds of marijuana were seized along with other suspected illegal prescriptions and drugs.

Drug activity by Sato and any potential associates is still under investigation at this time. Sato was booked into the Bonneville County Jai.
