Search begins to replace Clark County magistrate

The 7th Judicial District Magistrates Commission will meet May 12, 2017 to select a new magistrate judge in Clark County. Magistrate Judge Penny Stanford will retire from the post on June 30 after serving as a magistrate judge since November 20, 2006. The applicants include: BOYCE, STEVEN W. is an Attorney with Hawley Troxel Ennis & Hawley LLP, Idaho Falls, ID CLARK, SUSAN M. is a Felony Trial Team Attorney, Ada County Public Defender’s Office, Boise, ID EAMES, DAVID B. is Deputy Civil Division, Canyon County Prosecutor’s Office, Nampa, ID EGGLESTON, BRIAN K. is an Attorney with Nelson Hall Parry Tucker, PLLC, Ammon, ID GAUCHAY, KENT W. is Attorney of Counsel, Beard St. Clair Gaffney, Idaho Falls, ID GRAHAM, ASHLEY B. is an Attorney/Prosecutor, Bannock County, Rigby, ID JOHNSON, IAN C. is Chief Deputy City Attorney, City of Pocatello Legal Department, Pocatello, ID NORTH-SHAUL, PENELOPE is Asst. Deputy Chief Prosecuting Attorney, Bonneville County, Idaho Falls, ID POPE, MICHAEL A. is an Attorney, Law Office of Michael A. Pope, Meridian, ID ROMANKIW, LINDSEY R. is an Associate Attorney with Carey Perkins LLP, Idaho Falls, ID STURGELL, JAY Q. is the Court Assistance Office in the 1st Judicial District, Coeur d’Alene, ID WETZEL, STEVEN L. is the Attorney/Owner, Steven L. Wetzel P.A., Ammon, ID Attorneys across the state have been sent evaluation questionnaires about the 12 applicants being considered for the job. The questionnaires are due by March 24, 2017.
