Hoback River bridge construction begins

The Wyoming Department of Transportation and Cannon Builders have begun construction of a replacement bridge over the Hoback River. The bridge is located on Teton County Road 33, also known as Hoback Junction South Road. Crews will begin building a temporary, single-lane bridge downstream and adjacent to the current bridge. Work on the new bridge will begin when the temporary structure is complete. WYDOT said it plans to hold delays to 15 minutes or less. Motorists are asked to proceed through the area cautiously. The work will include the bridge, grading, a crush base, and bituminous pavement surfacing. It is expected to be complete by October 31, 2017.
