Authorities identify body found in southwestern Idaho canal
A body found in a southwest Idaho canal has been identified as 45-year-old Kevin Self of Garden City.
The Ada County coroner’s office in a news release Wednesday says foul play is not suspected.
Coroner Dotti Owens says an autopsy has been completed but toxicology results to possibly determine a cause of death won’t be available for several weeks.
Officials recovered Self’s body Tuesday morning in a canal grate off of State Street.
The Boise Police Department is investigating.
