Jackson Hole Fire/EMS names new Chief

Former Logan, Utah Assistant Fire Chief Brady Hansen has been named Chief of Jackson Hole Fire/EMS. Hansen will begin his duties in Jackson on September 11. Hansen has an extensive background in fire fighting, prevention, and fire safety. During his career in the South Ogden and Logan City Fire Departments, his positions have included volunteer, Captain, Fire Inspector, Training Officer, and Assistant Chief. Hansen was selected from a group of finalists. Hansen spent considerable time in Teton County, Wyoming throughout his life. He attended grade school and worked in Alta. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this incredible department,” said Hansen. “It is an honor to work alongside such talented men and women who are so professional and proficient in such a unique and challenging area.” Hansen said he hoped to continue a tradition of excellence at Jackson Hole Fire/EMS.
