House fire near Idaho Falls causes about $125,000 of damage

Idaho Falls Fire Department firefighters have contained a structure fire in a house about 6 miles north of the Idaho Falls Soccer Complex at 10666 North 26 West. According to a spokesperson, the cause of the fire at around 12:25 p.m. Friday was a wood burning stove. It did not spread to any surrounding buildings and there were no injuries.

The property-owner stated a pickup truck, 4-wheeler, riding lawnmower and various other equipment was stored in the shed. The estimated damage is approximately $125,000.
