Jon McLaughlin is coming to Idaho Falls in November

Jon McLaughlin will be performing at the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls on November 2, 2017, at 7:30 p.m.

The Idaho Falls Arts Council reports Jon McLaughlin is a talented pianist and singer-songwriter, whose songs are honest and heartfelt.

Songs like “Beautiful Disaster” and “Beating My Heart” performed well on the charts and led to McLaughlin’s music being used in films and TV. McLaughlin performed the Oscar-nominated song “So Close” from Disney’s Enchanted in the film, on the soundtrack, and during the 80th Academy Awards.

“I had the opportunity to see Jon McLaughlin perform at BB King’s Blues Club in New York,” said Executive Director of the Idaho Falls Arts Council Brandi Newton. “It became clear pretty quickly that he was a performer I wanted to share with Idaho Falls, and not just because I knew his name. He’s an incredibly talented musician and songwriter, but he’s also charming and pretty easy on
the eyes.”
