Local veterans can recieve free will packages for Veterans Day

One local law firm is putting free wills together for veterans for Veterans Day.

Lawyers at Hopkins-Roden in downtown Idaho Falls will provide free simple will packages. That will consist of a will, a living will, a health-care power of attorney, and a general durable power of attorney. The service will be available all day on Friday, November 10th the day before veterans day from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. It will take about 30 minutes to an hour to complete.

“It just was so great that we had so much interest from local interest. And it was great to have double the amount of individuals come in to get their free will packages done. Getting to meet them, hear their stories, where they served, it really made Veterans Day really special,” said Sean Coletti, an attorney with Hopkins-Roden Lawyers.

In 2015, the firm made about 40 free wills for veterans. Last year, it made more than 100 for our local vets.
