Zoo Idaho to host OktoBEARfeston Saturday, October 21

Zoo Idaho will host the first-ever OktoBEARfest at the zoo on October 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The 21 and over event will feature beer tastings, chili and music from the Kyd J Band.

Zoo Idaho reports the money raised by the event will help fund new animal exhibits, a new zoo entrance and help further conservation education about Idaho’s indigenous animals.

Tickets are $20 for Zoo Idaho Zoological Society members and $25 for nonmembers, and each person will receive a keepsake mug.

Cash and credit cards will be accepted, and you must be at least 21-years-old and present a valid photo ID to enter the event.

Babies and children are not allowed.
