“Shooting at Trump” answer on quiz was also on the same test last year
Public records show that the phrase “shooting at Trump” found in a high school English quiz was also an answer on the same test given to Jackson students last year.
Teton County School District Information Coordinator Charlotte Reynolds told the Jackson Hole News and Guide Tuesday that the quiz tested students on Chapter 7 and 8 of George Orwell’s “Animal Farm” and was likely written in 2016 or prior.
She thinks the phrase was not caught until this year because it was auto-graded.
The question asks students why a character named Napoleon fired a gun. “He was shooting at Trump” was one of the possible answers students could choose from.
The school district says that the online learning management system it uses does not show who wrote the quiz since it was archived.
