Murder suspect to face new charges

Murder suspect Erik Ohlson will be arraigned in Teton County Magistrate Court in Driggs Tuesday on two additional felony charges.

In addition to two previous counts of first-degree murder, Teton County, Idaho Prosecutor Billie Siddoway says she will seek to add a charge of burglary and a firearm enhancement.

If successful, the two charges would be consolidated into the earlier case against Ohlson for the July 5, 2016, murder of Jennifer Nalley and her unborn child at her home near Driggs.

In court proceedings last summer, a judge determined Ohlson could not get a fair trial in Teton County. He ordered the case be heard in Bingham County because it had a larger population and was one of the furthest counties away from Teton County in the 7th Judicial District.
