Forecast for DEC 2nd and 3rd 2017

Patchy fog tonight behind our weak snow storm. Though a break is expected for Saturday with warmer temperatures, a much larger system is expected to arrive on Sunday, bringing rain/snow and wind to the region. Rain is most likely during the day on Sunday, for the Snake River Plain. Rain turning to snow Sunday night with Several inches of snow expected for the mountains.

Tonight: Patchy fog, with a few snow flurries. Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 20’s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain and snow showers in the evening, with highs into the mid 40’s.

Sunday: A chance of rain before noon, then a chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40°. Southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Monday: Cold and sunny with highs into the upper 20’s and lower 30’s.
