Chubbuck Police Chief to retire

Chubbuck Police Chief Randy Severe has announced plans to retire from the force next Tuesday, December 12.

Severe began his career with the Rupert Police Department in 1973. He joined the Idaho State Police in 1975 and served for 8 years before joining the Chubbuck force in 1988. He was named Chief in 2004.

Severe obtained his POST Advance Certificate, POST Supervisor Certificate, and POST Executive Certificate. He is considered an expert in crash reconstruction in Idaho.
