Police seek driver of hit and run crash

Idaho State Police are looking for a man who ran away from the scene of a crash at the Hitt and Lincoln Road roundabout shortly before midnight Saturday.
The suspect was identified by witnesses and photos as Oscar Pantoja-Martinez, 20, of Idaho Falls.
According to ISP, Pantoja-Martinez was driving a 2018 Dodge Charger on Lincoln Road near Woodruff Avenue. A trooper pulled him over at 11:41 p.m. Saturday, but when the officer left his vehicle, the suspect sped away. s it entered the roundabout, the driver lost control of the Charger. It crossed into the westbound lane and hit a Hummer H3 head-on.
The driver then ran away from the crash into a field.
The driver of the Hummer, identified as Abril Ramirez-Areaga, 19, of Idaho Falls, was not injured.
The suspect was still at large Sunday morning.
