Paulette Jordan speaks at 4th annual Shoshone-Bannock Tribal women’s health fair
Paulette Jordan made a visit to Fort Hall today for the fourth annual Shoshone-Bannock Tribes’women’s health fair. Vendors from around the region gathered to promote healthy living.
Jordan, the keynote speaker, spoke about several women’s health and wellness issues. She promoted holistic living and how to incorporate it into everyday life as a mother.
She currently travels, giving lectures on health care, and developing what she calls the Jordan Coalition. It is a movement that became popular after the November elections.
“I love coming back here for the sake of wellness and talking about health care and being able to focus our communities back on holistic healing,” Jordan said. “Having conversations like this is really helpful, even for myself, because I get to see where people are, I get to hear what their needs are and help going forward.”
Jordan ran as a Democrat for governor in 2018 and lost to current Gov. Brad Little. We asked her if she is thinking about running for governor again in 2022. She said, “It’s not off the table.”
The public is invited to attend a meet-and-greet with Jordan at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel. They will also be showing a documentary on her gubernatorial race at 7 p.m.
