District 91 planners go back to the public
Idaho Falls School District 91 will bring the community’s latest ideas on meeting future facility needs to a “State of Our Schools Part 2” community meeting.
It is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Skyline High School cafeteria.
Those ideas include boundary changes, new construction, additions, renovations and even a restructuring of some educational programs.
The district is trying to build a 10-year facilities master plan. The effort is outlined to culminate with recommendations to the school board of trustees in September.
“Input from parents and patrons is critical as we work to develop a plan that will ensure our school buildings meet the needs of our students now and in the future,” said Superintendent George Boland. “We hope community members make time to attend this important meeting on May 15 or go online to share their input and ideas.”
