Pocatello Police offers house checks
The Pocatello Police Department Citizen Patrol is offering to check your home if you plan on going on vacation this summer.
Citizen Patrol members are available to provide a walk-around security check. The home can be checked several times a week and for up to two months.
They won’t be able to check homes that are up for sale or unoccupied. Citizen Patrol members are not allowed to enter the home for any reason, such as watering plants or picking up mail.
This is only being offered to residents within the city of Pocatello limits.
