3 sent to the hospital after crash

Idaho State Police investigated a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 93 near milepost 309, north of Salmon in Lemhi County.

19-year-old Hannah J. Simmons of Carmen Idaho was driving north on highway 93 in a 2013 Nissan Versa.

20-year-old Kylie Peets of Salmon was also driving north in a 2018 Toyota Prius.

27-year-old of Robin L. Harjo of Polson was driving south on the highway in 2013 Chevy Cruze.

Peets was stopped on highway 93 waiting for traffic before turning into The Ranch Steak House driveway.

Simmons attempted to go around Peets hitting the rear of Peets.

Peets was pushed into the southbound lane where it was hit by Harjo.

Harjo’s car went off the right shoulder coming to a stop in the parking lot of The Ranch Steak House.

All three drivers were taken to Steele Memorial Medical Center in Salmon.

Simmons and Harjo were wearing seatbelts, Peets was not.
