FRISCO, Texas — Max Fiedler posted 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists as Rice beat Charlotte 73-61 in the Conference USA Conference Tourney second round. Austin Butler led the 49ers on Wednesday with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
