Highs into the 80’s for Thursday, dropping temps for this weekend

A cold front is approaching from the west. As this front nears, look for warm winds out of the southwest, driving in highs into the lower 80's. The front will usher in more wind, dropping temps and scattered showers.

OVERNIGHT: Clear with light winds and lows into the mid to upper 30's.

THURSDAY: Winds at 15-35 MPH, partly sunny with highs into the lower 80's in the Snake River Plain. A slight chance of afternoon and evening showers/thunderstorms.

FRIDAY: A chance of rain, Partly to mostly cloudy, with a high near 70°. Southeast winds 15-35 MPH.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and Windy with highs into the mid 50's. A chance of showers and thunderstorms.
