Above average temps and no snow

High pressure continues to influence our weather for the week after Thanksgiving. Can't really complain, but seems odd to not have snow on the ground. Another chance of showers - rain/snow - may creep up on us like your long johns (which you'll need overnight) by this weekend. Some fog can be expected into mountains. but above average temps in the 40's this week means we aren't seeing much in terms of air flow or wind. Stagnant air advisories are up to the western part of the state.

Highs in the 40's today and into this week. Lows in the 20's. Wind chills in the single digits or below - like this morning. -7 in Jackson to start.

This dry trend continues all week, some clouds may pass through mid-week and lower our temps to the mid 30's, which is more of our seasonal average, btw.
