Skyline wins first Holiday Shootout Girls Championship 46-43 over Pocatello

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Skyline Grizzlies are the first champions in the girls bracket of the East Idaho Holiday Shootout, and the Grizz won the title on home court in a 46-43 victory over Pocatello.

Skyline came out scoring in the first quarter, starting the game on a 10-2 run and finishing the first quarter with a seven-point lead.

The Thunder made it a close game, but Skyline held for the three-point victory.

Next up, Skyline travels to Idaho Falls Jan. 11 while Pocatello hits the road to Preston Wednesday.
