IDHSAA looking for officials and umpires for spring sports this season

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The national official shortage has had a significant impact on high school sports, and the IDHSAA is looking for new and returning officials for the spring sports season.

District VI rules clinics, required for new and returning officials are being held Feb. 15th and 22nd. The baseball umpires clinic is on the 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in the Idaho Falls High School Media Center, and clinics for softball umpires are on the 15th and 22nd at 8:00 p.m. at the same location.

The District VI track officials clinic is Feb. 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Rigby High School in room 1615.

District V clinics for all three sports have already taken place. If you want to be a district V official/umpire or you are a returning district V official/umpire, you can make up the clinic at this link.
