Century edges past Highland in OT again

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - In their second matchup in less than a week, Century and Highland went to overtime for a second time and once again, the Diamondbacks came out on top with a 60-57 win.

Friday's game was Highland's first time taking the court since refusing to play for head coach Ty Pearson until he either resigns or gets replaced. The players sitting out resulted in Wednesday's Madison-Highland varsity game being cancelled. Pearson was in attendance and was on the sidelines coaching the Rams.

The Diamondbacks (17-4) will host the winner of Preston and Pocatello on Thursday.

The Rams (7-14) will be the fourth seed in the 5A District 5-6 Boys Basketball Tournament.
