Two Chukars hit for the cycle in historic 25-17 victory over the Vibes

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (KIFI) - For the first time in Pioneer League history, two players from the same team recorded a cycle in a single game as Hunter Hisky and Dusty Stroup hit for the cycle in a 25-17 Saturday night win against the Rocky Mountain Vibes.

It is also just the third time two players have hit for the cycle in a single game in all of minor league baseball since 2008.

Plus, with his inside-the-park home run in the second inning, Stroup is the first professional baseball player to record a cycle with an inside-the-park home run since Leon Culberson hit one for the Boston Red Sox July 3rd, 1943.

Next up for the Chukars, their series finale against the Vibes in Colorado Springs is set for Sunday at 5:05 p.m.
