Names released in deadly rollover on I-15
Police have released the names of those involved in a deadly crash Monday on Interstate 15 near Roberts.
Ulises Garcia-Amizaga, 19, of Mexico, the driver of the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, Javier Figeroa-Martinez, 17, of Dubois, was taken by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The SUV was traveling southbound about two miles north of Roberts when it lost control and flipped over the median.
The right side of the northbound lane was closed off for three hours while crews worked to clean up the accident.
