Blackfoot man dies in crash
A man died in a two-vehicle crash north of Aberdeen on Wednesday afternoon.
Daniel Bolgen, 59, of Aberdeen, was northbound on State Highway 39 in a 2002 Kenworth semi, pulling a single trailer. Joseph Grover, 63 of Blackfoot, was also northbound on the highway in a 1988 Jeep Cherokee.
Bolgen was turning westbound onto 1500 South when Grover struck the semi trailer from behind around 1 p.m..
Idaho State Police said Grover was not wearing his seat belt. He died at the scene of the crash.
Bolgen was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.
The crash is under investigation by the ISP.
