Memorial Day weekend is a busy one in eastern Idaho. Here’s what’s happening.

Friday
Free Fisherman’s Breakfast, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Clyde Keefer Memorial Park, St. Anthony.r

Opening ceremonies of Idaho Field of Heroes, 10 a.m., Century High School, Pocatello. Events from Friday to Monday. See schedule at http://idahofieldofheroes.org.

Saturday

Idaho Run for the Fallen, 8 a.m., Century High School, Pocatello. Participants run a mile for every soldier lost in recent wars. More information at http://runforthefallenidaho.org.

Opening ceremonies of Field of Honor, noon, Freeman Park, Idaho Falls. More events Saturday, Sunday and Monday. See details at http://www.healingfield.org/idahofalls13.

Midnight Muscle Car Club 100′ Drags, all day, Stanford Field Airport, St. Anthony. Entry fee for participants, but free to watch.

American Hero Celebration, noon, Mountain River Ranch, Ririe. Run and bike events, flyover, food, music and car show. Proceeds benefit Wounded Warrior project.

Grin and Bear It 4k Fun Run, 8 a.m. Lilac Circle at Tautphaus Park, Idaho Falls. Jog through the park and zoo while helping raise funds for bear conservation. Cost $25; included in admission for spectators.

Foster Care Fun Walk, 9 a.m., Jensen’s Grove, Blackfoot. Breakfast for participants. Get information on how you can become a foster parent in addition to the activities.

Join the Brotherhood of the Grape!, 5 p.m., Pocatello Co-op, Old Town Pocatello. Wine-tasting event. Try five wines and a light pairing for $8. Call 232-2181 for more information.

Swan Valley Fire/EMS Fundraiser, 6 p.m., Trillis Fleming’s barn on Palisades Creek Road. Barn dance with dinner and auction. Live band at 8 p.m. $25 per person.
