Man Leads Police On Two Chases Tuesday Morning

A man was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after Idaho State Police says he lead them on a chase.

Just after midnight Tuesday, Idaho State Police stopped a 2005 Chevrolet Impala, north on Interstate 15 at milepost 73, in Bannock County, for speeding.

Idaho State Police says the driver identified as Tyson Coby, 32 of Pocatello took off after being asked to exit the vehicle due to an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle.

Idaho State Police Followed the vehiclebut ended the chase for safety reasons.

A short time later Bingham County located the vehicle and another chase started.

But that chase was also stopped for safety reasons.

Later, Bingham County located Coby after he crashed his vehicle.

Coby was transported to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

There’s no word on his condition at this time.
