Theft investigation leads to rape charges

An Idaho Falls man was arrested on a warrant for grand theft and two counts of rape Monday.

Officers were contacted Oct. 1 about the theft of a computer, monitor, and an Xbox and controllers from a home on the 1100 block Syringa Drive. The items were valued at $2,220.

Police said that during their investigation, they found that the suspect, John M. Hensley, 20, had sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl.

Hensley was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
