Washington man killed in I-86 crash
A Moxee, Washington man was killed at around 6:32 a.m. Wednesday in a one vehicle crash on Interstate 86.
Idaho State Police identified the victim was Sean C. Byers, 23.
According to reports, Byers was driving westbound near milepost 55, near the Pocatello Airport in Power County, when his 2002 Ford Ranger went off the left shoulder of the roadway, rolled, and came to rest in the median.
Byers died at the scene of the crash. His passenger, Laura E. Howell, 21, of Edgewood, Washington was transported by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center.
Idaho State Police are continuing their investigation.
