Drivers should brace for icy conditions
The National Weather Service tells Local News 8 drivers should brace themselves for icy conditions Christmas Eve.
A winter storm warning is currently in effect until 5 p.m. Christmas Day with several inches of snow forecast for eastern Idaho.
Weather Service meteorologists say winter conditions could be particularly bad driving west toward Boise Wednesday night as a cold front moves east.
As of Wednesday evening, Idaho State Police reported no accidents except for a jack-knifed truck on Highway 20 near the Targhee Pass.
