Single mom wins car from Idaho Falls business

A woman got a Christmas gift she called a miracle Wednesday when she won a new car.

Camille North was the grand prize winner in Northgate Express Car Wash’s $15,000 I DID IT CLUB Christmas Give Away. No purchase was needed to win, but participants needed to take a form to eight businesses to be signed.

“This was a miracle to win this car,” said North of her Audi A6 Quatro. North, a mother, said she was strapped financially because of a divorce and was “trying to survive.” Her current car was in “horrible condition” with windshield wipers that didn’t work. She said she wanted a better car, but couldn’t afford a car payment.

“I couldn’t believe it,” she said of getting the good tidings Wednesday morning. “At first I was told not to say anything until 9:30 when I went to pick up the car, which was hard, because I was really excited, and then I received a callback, saying that it was posted on Facebook, and I could tell anyone I wanted. So, I called my dad, who has been my support. When he heard the news, he started crying, knowing how much I needed the car.”

North said Right Price Auto, which partnered with Northgate Express in the giveaway, gave her a one year warranty on the car.
