Weekend Winter Storm Warning
Another round of snow and wind is moving into the region for late Saturday and into Sunday.
We may have some localized bands of heavy snow, thanks to a possible Snake River Plain convergence zone. Convergence zones can lead to a slow moving band of snow over portions of the Plain.
The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Saturday evening and Sunday. By Sunday evening, this storm could produce 2 to 5 inches for portions of the Snake River Plain, with lighter amounts for the Arco Desert.
