Roberts pair accused of counterfeiting

Two people were arrested on counterfeiting charges at an Idaho Falls hotel on Monday afternoon.

Pinecrest Inn workers told Idaho Falls police Tracy M. Peebles, 35, and Forrest D. Haga, 31, both of Roberts, were using $50 counterfeit bills to rent their hotel room.

Officers found Peebles and Haga had a printer, paper and other items used to produce the phony money.

Peebles and Haga were both arrested on charges of passing counterfeit currency and possession of a counterfeiting apparatus. They were booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
