Voters approve levies in three east Idaho districts

Voters in Salmon, Soda Springs, and Aberdeen school districts approved supplemental levies at the polls Tuesday.

The Aberdeen school district asked for a two-year $675 thousand supplemental levy. It was approved by a vote of 284 to 167.

In Soda Springs, voters approved a one-year $798 thousand levy by a margin of 456 to 309.

And, in Salmon, voters approved a two-year $388 thousand supplemental levy by a vote of 1,540 to 499.

Each issue required a simple majority for approval.
